Skin plastic surgery is a unique and challenging sub-specialty within plastic surgery, which involves the repair, reconstruction, and rejuvenation of the skin. This can range from the removal of skin cancer and the reconstruction of the area after removal to the treatment of congenital and acquired skin conditions, such as cleft lip and palate, burns, and traumatic injuries.
Mr. Durrani specialises in the surgical management of all types of skin cancer, including basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and malignant melanoma. With over 15 years of experience as a consultant plastic and reconstructive surgeon at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge. Mr. Durrani has established himself as a leading expert in the field of skin cancer surgery. He has been the plastic surgery lead for skin cancer in Cambridgeshire since 2009 and has a specialist research interest in both melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer.
