 I am currently an “F3” Doctor working in London. I graduated Medicine from the University of Southampton with an additional intercalated Masters degree in Medical Science. Since qualifying, I have completed Foundation Training in London, predominantly working in Paediatrics and Emergency Medicine. Upon completing foundation training, I’ve taken a year out of training to gain further experience of paediatrics, in both a DGH and tertiary setting. I’m now opting to take a further year out of training to spend some time back in the Emergency Department,  developing my portfolio whilst deciding between Paediatric or ACCS training for my specialty applications.  I’m from a widening participation background myself, and driven by my own experiences, I’m passionate about helping aspiring students from all backgrounds to get into and thrive within the world of medicine. I truly believe it’s the best job in the world and would encourage anybody to explore any interest they may have in pursuing it as a career.
