Who are AspireMEd?
AspireMEd, founded by a group of UK medical students who developed the idea after seeing lots of expensive and inaccessible courses for aspiring medical students, particularly over recent months during the pandemic when usual events have been postponed or cancelled.
Tickets have been made available to students from a widening participation background first. In these schools, students may not have the knowledge or resources to consider medicine. We have sold over 1700 tickets, so book a ticket to confirm your attendance on the link below (it's free!).
We have the support of the National Medical Schools Widening Participation Forum, the Association of the Study of Medical Education (ASME), the Junior Association of the Study of Medical Education (JASME) and the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP). We also have recruited passionate medical student ambassadors from universities across the UK including Aberdeen, Anglia Ruskin, Bristol, Cardiff, Exeter, King’s, Keele, Lancaster, Manchester, Newcastle, Queen Mary, Sheffield, St George’s and Swansea.
What can I expect from this conference?
Talks, Workshops, Prizes, Q&A and much more!
