As part of the WPMN Conference 2025, we invite doctors and medical students to submit research abstracts related to widening participation (WP) in medicine OR a change to present their WP initiative with an elevator pitch and talk about the work they do.

This is an opportunity to showcase research that explores the barriers, enablers, and impact of WP initiatives on medical education, career progression, and patient care. This is a national conference with the possibility of oral presentations.We welcome abstracts on (but not limited to):

• WP in Medical Education – Admissions, outreach, and support initiatives.

• Career Progression & Training – The impact of WP on specialty choice, career satisfaction, and retention.

• Diversity & Inclusion in Healthcare – How WP influences healthcare delivery and patient outcomes.
