How can you make the most of your time at medical school?

This upcoming mini-series will help you to better understand how the recruitment processes work after the Foundation Programme in areas such as such as medicine, surgery, anaesthetics, radiology and GP, amongst others. It will also highlight how you can improve your chances of getting into competitive specialty posts.

At medical school there are a number of opportunities available to boost the chances of your future self getting into the speciality you want. Although there are a plethora of opportunities, you’re only going to be able to take them and make the most of your time at medical school if you are able to recognise those opportunities and grab them with both hands.

Do not worry if you haven't chosen a speciality, some F1s, F2s, F3s etc. are not sure but you can start getting ahead now by focusing on the specialties you enjoy.

This mini-series will help you get ahead at medical school by helping you boost your CV whilst an undergraduate and save your future self some stress whilst working as a Foundation Year doctor.

So watch this space for upcoming posts and discussions on how to get ahead at medical school!
