A new and very exciting opportunity has landed! Widening Participation Medics Network has teamed up with Oxford Medical School to offer a 6-part mentorship programme to students from a widening participation background to improve diversity in their medical school.
Who is part of the programme? Mentors are current medical students at Oxford from various backgrounds working together to make Oxford Medical School a priority on your UCAS application.
What will I gain? This unique opportunity will involve one-to-one mentoring providing you with a thorough overview of the application process, aptitude tests and interviews. You will be given personalised feedback and guidance to help make your application stand out.
How long will it last? This mentorship will last approximately 6 weeks, commencing in early-August lasting until mid-September 2020. Session will be 1 hour long and take place once a week via a virtual platform.
What do I have to do to be eligible? All we ask of you is to be committed to the full length of the programme and demonstrate motivation, enthusiasm and passion for medicine!
